Jonah Kowall, VP of Market Development & Insights, AppDynamics

In Jonah’s role at AppDynamics, he helps to drive the company’s product roadmap and vision, while developing entry into new markets. Jonah comes to AppDynamics with a diverse background including 15 years as an IT practitioner at several startups and larger enterprises focused on infrastructure and operations, security, and performance engineering. In 2011 Jonah changed careers, moving to Gartner to focus on availability and performance monitoring and IT operations management (ITOM). Jonah led Gartner's influential application performance monitoring  and network performance monitoring and diagnostics magic quadrants and research as a research vice president.

Aaron Young, Chief Architect for IBM Z APM Connect, IBM

Aaron is a Senior Software Engineer in IBM’s Systems Group in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. He is also the Chief Architect for IBM Z Application Performance Management Connect, a product that gives customers visibility into their mainframe environments in the context of their enterprise-wide business applications. Aaron has been working in the IBM Z monitoring space for over 20 years in various roles and on products spanning IT Operations Monitoring, IT Operations Analytics, and APM.

Nicole Nemec, Offering Manager for IBM Z APM Connect, IBM

Nicole is the Offering Manager for the IBM Z Application Performance Management Connect product offering. Based out of IBM’s Systems Group in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, she is passionate about building products that enable mission-critical applications across all industries.
